I’m not one for dull reviews so fasten your seatbelt buckaroo we’re going on an adventure. Upon the packages arrival like Harry Potter at my door step I thought to myself, “Huh,that is very small...I wonder what it could be!”. See, I had regretfully forgotten to check the proportions of this wonderful addition to my coven, and found that they were not over a foot tall. My fault. Otherwise these lovely ladies were a bit tough to put together. Mind you, I’m writing this in 2020 so the likelihood of me loosing muscle over the course of doing nothing for six months might’ve affected this.
Anyway great product, had a lot of fun with it, take the plastic off the solar panel on the lamp, have a lovely day, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
Buy a " fire and ice" light on Amazon along with your witches. ( approx $30) It's like a Halloween strobe light. Stick the witches and cauldren in the ground near a wall. ( mine is brick and siding and it was fine..see pics) Stick the light in front of the witches and move it around until you get a strong, tall shadow on both. (If you use two lights, it messes up the shadow effect)
The strobe makes the witches look like they are moving slightly, which really adds to the effect. Also, hang some spiders and bats all over the place. I put stuff in back of the strobe and small witches so that you don't see them well until you're right up on them.
Keep in mind, you need a wall without bushes in front of it and earth to stick the witches and light into. You also can't have your porch light on due to light pollution on the shadows. I used black lights and round paper lanterns with led party lights for additional indirect lighting.
( 2 or 3 lights for each lantern) Plus one big white or yellow lantern for the full moon for the witches, of course.
Not great photos but my witches were moving, and it's nighttime!
Can't wait to create more of a story around them this year.
