FAIR WARNING: If you're using this for a mATX build and NOT using a modular PSU, you're in for an adventure.
This case is inexpensive, but it looks nice and comes with two fans and all the screws and other accessories you will need to install all your components. It's a good value overall. I wanted to get a smaller case for my HTPC, and settled on this model to install my MicroATX motherboard, along with two 3.5" HDDs. I didn't put in a full size optical drive. To save space, I got a Chenbro 1x ODD Bay to 1x Slim ODD Bay and 1x Internal 3.5-Inch HDD/FDD Bay Cage and used a 12.7mm laptop-style DVD drive along with a SKYDIGITAL USB 3.0 Internal Card Reader with eSATAIf you're considering purchasing this case for a MicroATX build, you should know that it's a VERY tight fit for these motherboards. My speculation is that the design team was trying to see how small they could make this while still making it THEORETICALLY possible to fit a mATX motherboard. If you use a modular power supply, it will save you a lot of trouble, since you won't need to find a spot to stuff the unused cables inside the case. I didn't use one, so I had to stash the cables underneath the ODD and card reader in the other 5.25" bay. This worked OK, but if I had been willing to spend the extra money to buy a modular PSU, I could have used that space for my second 3.5" drive. It would have also been nice if Rosewill had made the 3.5" drive cage removable instead of permanently attaching it to the case with rivets. As it stands, you can mount a 3.5" HDD in the top slot of the 3.5" cage after installing the motherboard by removing the knockout panel in the case and sliding it in through the front. I also found that the slots they provided in the cage didn't line up with the mounting holes on my HDD, but I was able to bend out the little tabs underneath to lower it down enough so I could put screws through the slots and secure the drive. If you need a second 3.5" drive in that cage, you must mount if before you install your processor's heatsink/fan, or you'll never get it in there. Another thing to note while I'm on that subject is that if your heatsink needs special mounting hardware on the bottom of the motherboard, be sure to get that installed BEFORE putting in the motherboard, as there is no cutout on the motherboard tray to allow you access after it's installed. Since I already had my heatsink/fan mounted on my motherboard and didn't feel like removing it to put the 2nd HDD in, I had to get creative. I found a spot against the back of the case where there is a grille and when I set the HDD up against the inside there, one of the screw holes lined up perfectly with a hole in the grille (see photos) so with one screw and some hot glue I was able to secure the HDD. If you have a 2.5" HDD or SSD, Rosewill provides mounting holes to let you attach it to the bottom surface of the case, so that is another possibility. In spite of the issues I ran into in my specific situation, I would still highly recommend this case, as it is an excellent value for under $30.In closing, other things to be mindful of are that the front panel is plastic with a glossy finish, so if you have young children who like to put their little paws on everything, this surface will collect lots of hand prints. Secondly, since it's constructed of plastic and thin steel, this case is not exactly rugged: if you put it on the floor, it's at risk of being damaged if it's accidentally kicked or bashed with a vacuum cleaner. Lastly, since the front fan intake is on the bottom of the front panel, it should not be placed on the floor if you have carpet, as that would restrict air intake. (In any event, you'd get a lot more dust in the case if it's sitting on the floor, since dust tends to settle.) Overrall, you'll get the best result by placing this case in a cabinet, on a desk, or on a shelf in your entertainment center.

5.0 out of 5 stars SRM-01 - Seriously just disregard the bad reviews
Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2018
To be honest, this is by far my favorite part of my new computer build. It is sleek and small - something like 14x14x7. Cable management is great as they give you plenty of room and opening in the back to run cables. The material also feels really good to me. It’s not flimsy at all. I mainly love how this thing only costs 20 bones… philbo happy!
I only had one issue with the case. The case only came with 6 motherboard risers. Guys there are 9 riser openings in a micro atx motherboard! Also, I should mention that I didn't use the 80mm rear exhaust fan that came with it b/c I wanted a blue LED fan. However, the included exhaust is actually pretty good as opposed to alot of stock case fans.
Now I feel like I need to address some issues that have been brought up about this case. I read quite a few complaints about how hard it was to get some components in place like optical drive/graphics card/hard drives. These people must have never built a computer before… Let me address. Optical Drive - Who needs an optical drive anymore? I honestly can’t remember the last time I used one on my previous computer. Maybe 2015 or 2016? It's not like you’re going to make an HTPC w/ this case. Not really meant for that. GPU - I put my big ole GPU (EVGA GTX 950 FTW) in it w/ the PSU cable attached to the side and still had at least a half an inch from the little side cage that you mount stuff. I will say this, you can’t have a long GPU and have a drive mounted on the bottom part of the swivel cage. No problem! Just mount up top! Additional HDD/SSD - Use the space at the top of the case that you were going to waste on an optical drive as a spot to put a hard drive… enough said.
I also saw people complaining about the airflow and the battery being placed at the top. Let's keep in mind that It’s ~$20... I put a 120mm intake fan at the front (yes I had plenty of space for this) and my AMD wraith spire cooler is positioned just a few inches from the side fan opening which gives me a little more intake. Between the 80mm back exhaust/gpu exhaust/psu exhaust I think I am good. I haven’t noticed my parts getting overly hot at all under load. I’ll say it again 20 bones.
I don’t think the PSU at the top is a problem. Maybe it makes it just a little top heavy? Also, it’s not really going to be intaking too much heat from other components since there is an exhaust right under it.
Final thing I think that people had an issue with the case was the side where you run your PSU cables for management won’t close. Just get some zip ties and zip the cables down to one of the many holes provided for you on the back and you will have no problem slidin’ that side back on.
You can’t beat this case for the price – probably not even for another 20 or 30 washingtons. Buy it!

First I want to say that I purchased this case on sale for $19.99 with free shipping. I also want to ad that I probably try out about 10 new cases each year for customer builds and such so it's become a bit of an obsession to find the most value at certain price points.

This computer case deserves it's 5 stars and that is because it combined an amazing quality considering it only cost $20. First the computer case is made out of mostly metal and although it's slightly thinner than a $60 it isn't an issue or even noticeable especially to the consumer. The front panel is plastic and although it doesn't look expensive, it's durable and unlikely to break. My only complaint with the front panel is it does come off a little too easily and I did consider putting the smallest dab of hot clue on the tabs just to keep the panel secure only because I will be selling this computer. The power button feels responsive and doesn't give or move when pressed. The USB slots seem pretty decent and standard (USB 2.0 btw. This chassis came with two fans and I have to say they exceed my expectations. The first 120mm fan is located at the back and 80mm located behind the front panel, an actually pretty clever place because it will help move air on a diagonal path. I would like it if they ever decide to update the design to add more clearance for airflow from the front panel.

    Pros:
Great value for the price ($20)
Smooth black finish makes it look appealing.
    Two fans included.
Simplistic and great for a low profile case.
    firm power button
    Doesn't feel like a $20 case

    Cons: (this is me nitpicking)
Not enough airflow from the bottom of the front panel, I would like more holes
Front Panel could be a tad bit more sturdy.
The standoffs required a lot of force to place properly. This was my biggest concern.

Other than that it's a great case and I will be buying more of them in the future.
